Our Story
The G'23 Festival was founded to encourage community gathering and support for local artists and musicians living or working in the historically arts-centric Gilman Square community, as well as promoting emerging local Gilman Square businesses.
Gilman Square is a neighborhood that historically has larger diversity and less cultural services. There are no music venues and limited access to free art programs. The G'23 Festival provides an approachable way to hear local musicians, sample local businesses and encourage youth involvement with arts and crafts activities.
